Horses are my teacher

I’m an outdoor person and I thrive on being out in nature because that’s where I get my juice from - the horses. My horses are the big focus and they are my teachers.

That’s my life out with the horses in nature – that’s who Dan Craig is…

Caring for the barefoot hoof

Hooves should be tended to every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year.

Here is a guideline:

  • In the summer time we trim every 6 weeks because our horses are growing more foot in the summer.
  • In the Winter time we trim every 8 weeks because our horse is growing more hair and the foot growth slows down.
